Worship
If you visit Holy Comforter, you will find that we read a good bit of the Bible every week, and we hear a sermon in response to the scriptures. We profess the faith that we share, we pray for the needs of all people, and we celebrate the Eucharist along with the joys and blessings of life.
All of these things point us to the heart of our worship as Episcopalians: the Eucharist, or Holy Communion. We experience the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in this ancient sharing of bread and wine, which we celebrate each Sunday. Church is not just what happens on Sunday morning. We have many opportunities to worship together virtually or out in the community during the week.

For a typical Sunday schedule with multiple Eucharists, it takes more than 20 volunteers to adequately staff all n…

The Anglican heritage of worship and music, centuries old yet enriched by modern influences, is a rich and vital part of congregational life at Holy Comforter. This spiritual principle guides the music program at Holy Comforter, which i…
