Pathfinders Circle Group
The Pathfinders' primary purpose is to guide the parish in exploring and discerning how we are called in these new times to fulfill our parish vision - to build the beloved community where Christ's transformative love is known and shared. Pathfinders will help find The Way forward in service of Holy Comforter's vision, mission, and values. To do this, we will engage the parish as we:
- Examine our strengths and gifts as a parish
- Seek to understand the needs of God's people
- Discern with God's grace where we are now called to focus our efforts
To begin to explore this path, we are using an Episcopal church sponsored program called Genesis II. Genesis II is an 18 month journey for Episcopal parishes like Holy Comforter through which we will ponder three key questions:
- Who are we, as a parish, as Episcopalians, as God’s people?
- Where are we, what is the geographical context, the “neighborhood,” of our parish?
- How is God already at work in our neighborhood, and how and where do we sense a call as a parish to join in that work?
