There are over 2,350 passages in the Bible about money and possessions, but most of us listen only to family, friends, the media, or financial advisors when making financial decisions. It’s a good idea to find out what God has to say about it.
That’s why Holy Comforter is offering a financial stewardship program called FreedUp. It is a 6-8 week program that equips parishioners with an understanding of God’s teachings that when we are freed up from worry about money, we can lead grateful and generous lives.
How it Works
FreedUp is delivered through an app on your phone or tablet, with weekly class information, videos, and workbooks. Small groups meet weekly to share insights and learnings about money principles, while preserving confidentiality of individual finances. The FreedUp program is provided for a discounted price of $19 per household (regular price is $99) thanks to a 2024 contribution form Holly Comforter.

Register for Small Groups This Fall
There is a two-step registration process to participate in small groups which will start October 6.
- Click the button below and complete the online registration form so that Holy Comforter can put everyone into groups based on their preferred times. If you prefer a paper form, click FreedUp Registration Form and return the completed form to the church office.
- After you receive an email confirming your time, you will need to purchase the program directly from FreedUp. You will need to use the provided coupon code to get the reduced price of $19. After purchasing the program, you will need to download the app from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android). You will also order your workbook from FreedUp.
