Holy Comforter at General Convention
Holy Comforter was in the spotlight at General Convention for our participation in the Genesis, a forward-looking initiative of the Church Planting and Renewal ministry of the Episcopal Church. Our Genesis "Postcard from the Edge" about our neighborhood engagement at Sedgefest in May had a prime spot at the convention booth of the Church Planting & Redevelopment office.
Holy Comforter was behind the scenes at the Love Always Revival, celebrated by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry on June 22. Beth Hardin prayed over the revival music team, led by Holy Comforter's special partner and Love Always Music Director, Kory Caudill of the Concert for the Human Family.
And Holy Comforter was there when John Snelsire joined the visitor's gallery to witness the election of the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe to be the 28th presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church. John created a network of ministries throughout the Episcopal Church,to support the Concert for the Human Family.
Love grows at Holy Comforter, and its seeds spread when we carry God's love into the church and the world.
